Things are looking up

Huge milestone last night: I was able to have a successful hour long dinner with my host mom and roommate last night talking about various topics and understanding various topics- more or less. I think my Spanish is starting to kick in!

Here's a few pictures from my past two weeks:

Italian café in San Telmo, called none other than Sr. Telmo's

mmm, their version of garlic fries

We work the free peanut system very well here, don't worry.

Sunny days in Belgrano

Capoeira in the Recoleta park

Feria in Recoleta

Can't decide what to get? Why not try them all

Dancing in the park

Submarinos. The best thing since hot chocolate. Hot milk and a bar of chocolate you can melt into it all on your own.

Best median I've ever played in.

The famous Cafe Tortoni

It's known for it's churros and I have to say, they were the best I've ever had.

Con tres amigos.

Luckily got there before the line

Now it's off to wine country in Mendoza for a few days then making it to a day of Argentina's Oktoberfest in Cordoba!

Un beso

p.s. I'm almost all caught up!
