One thing that's not very popular in Buenos Aires: hummus. One restaurant that is very popular in Buenos Aires: Sarkis. This Middle Eastern restaurant is so popular they have a heated outdoor waiting area which was a nice place to spend an hour waiting for a table. It was worth it though, the food was out of this world, definitely the best tabouli I've ever had along with meat stuffed peppers, lamb, a meat and eggplant dish, hummus, and falafel. Definitely a place to share plates so you can have a little of everything. Plenty of non-meat options too in case you were wondering.
Top left is the largest stuffed pepper I've ever seen.
And don't forget about dessert, the most important meal of the day.
